“ Love this place! Every time we make a trip to Decatur I have to stop by for the BEST homemade horchata around! ”

“ Not your typical Mexican joint! The moment I saw the menu I knew this place would be unique, and it didn't disappoint. :) Let me preface this review with a few points. It was our first visit, and I had a serious craving for Mexican food, and I was prepared to be underwhelmed as I have been with several other local places. If you look over the menu it's not the same few ingredients served as a taco, enchilada or nachos, or the like. It features unique Latino-Asian fusion items like sushi and ramen along with the regular Mexican fare. Today was our first time. I started with a michelada (that's a beer based Bloody Mary. I chose Tecate light as I was counting carbs -haha!). The base mix combined with the lime and rim spices - pure heaven! Hubby had his usual Negra Modelo. Hubby's shrimp soup was delicious - it was a cold tomato base soup chock full of yummy veggies and shrimp. It's a weekend special item, so be sure to try that. I had the birria tacos. The accompanying consommé for dipping this cheesy beefy delight was on point. I prefer things a bit on the spicy side, so I added some hot sauce to the consommé. We also had the chorizo cheese dip. It was good. Our server was friendly and efficient. Good service. The vibe is casual. Music was upbeat. The decor theme is the day of the dead. A fun departure from the typical resort style decor. We'll definitely be back. I have a few more menu items to try. ”

“ (2025) We dined here tonight and the food was pretty good. My son really enjoyed the street corn and inferno roll. Hubby enjoyed the margarita. I had a mojito which was fresh and light but needed a bit more mint. (2023) First time eating here and it was amazing! The absolute best Mexican food in North Alabama!! Hubby and kiddo got loaded nachos and I got a taco salad. The ingredients were super fresh especially the beans! My oldest son got a sushi roll.... I know weird but it was also great! They have a pretty good variety on the menu of selections and drinks. ”

“ Food here is very authentic, smaller area to sit and eat.. the sushi is Absolutely Amazing. Restaurant offers many food choices. ”

- Ms G -

“ Wow! First visit here on Sunday lunch and everything was great. We had the choriqueso, and I asked for their house hot sauces (the red sauce was the real deal .) Quesabirria tacos were so good because the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. We also tried the sushi fusion with the dos quesos roll. It was surprisingly good. Can't wait to come back to try something new! ”

- Miranda Miranda -

“ Nicely decorated restaurant! The food was pretty good! Shrimp was overcooked, but the poblano sauce had amazing flavor. Margarita was also nice and strong. Waitress could have been more welcoming. ”
